I know I plan on going Friday evening with you for the introduction of the clans. I wasn’t impressed with how Jura handled the class last year, but my give them a go again. Was really hoping Whisky Live had been invited back, looks like they’ve really severed that relationship.

Last year, Jura had a booth up on the top breezeway of the stadium and that’s where they were selling the tickets for the class. We went by early Saturday and the list was nearly full…..

So, North Texas Scottish Festival has moved up a month this year. May 4-6. They haven’t posted a full schedule yet so I can’t tell if Whisky Live will be coming back this year with the tent. My guess is not as I only see Jura listed on the sponsor page. Jura had some first year jitters last year doing the Scotch class, so…….not sure if Scotch will be a significant draw this year. http://www.texasscottishfestival.com/

We usually meet at Pop’s Safari on Fridays about 6:30. We should be there this Friday. If the weather is nice look for us on the patio.

We have done tastings early in the week before, Tue/Wed. We also have been talking about doing a more official monthly meeting either early in the week at Pops or on a Saturday at someones house.
